In California, when people refer to an easy divorce, they are most likely talking about an uncontested divorce in which the parties are cooperative. The cost of an easy divorce depends largely on whether or not there are issues such as property, child support, etc. A consultation with an attorney will determine whether an agreement is necessary. A court appearance is usually not required.
